Greetings coach, The NPL news wishes to have a short interview with you. We will try not to take up too much of your time.
1) What is your occupation (Or how do you afford to play in this league) Medical biller for a group of emergency room physicians
2) Are you married? And if so what is your Wife's name? Sharon
3) Do you have children? If so what are their names? List birthdates if you wish! Allison born 07/02/97
4) Oklahoma has struggled the last couple years, do you think they are ready to move back to the playoffs this season? We’ve got to make better decisions in our defensive and offensive play calling. I think we have the talent to beat any given team at any given time. We just have to be more consistent.
5) Are there any new player(s) on the team this season that you are really excited about? We’ve really solidified the offensive line with the additions of Steve Van Houten and Kevin Smith and added quality depth in the defensive backfield with Shay Hannah and Frankie Jackson.
6) Were their any players lost this season that you wish you could have kept? We would’ve liked to keep TE Eric Sprague but he’s moved on and we wish him well.
7) What would you consider to be the strongest part of your roster? (I.E. OL, DL, etc) I believe we have a very strong OL right now and Butch Calloway should see a lot of daylight this season. Also, the OL should give Dan Gambino time to find Worth Miller and Robert Jasper for some big gains
8) How would you describe Oklahoma brand of football? (Smash Mouth, West Coast, etc.) I originally envisioned the Outlaws to run an offense much like Joe Gibbs had in Washington in the 1980’s. I liken or OL to the “HOGS” (Joe Jacoby, Rich Milot, Russ Grimm and company) and really would like to see Calloway and Brothers grind out the yards in the ground game.
9) Please predict the following. a) Northeast Champion: Reno b) Southeast Champion: Indianapolis c) Northwest Champion: Bangor d) Southwest Champion: Hong Kong e) East conference Champs: Indianapolis f) West Conference Champs: Hong Kong g) League Champs: Hong Kong
